Kristen has 14 years of acute pediatric and neonatal intensive care nursing experience. She completed the family nurse practitioner degree in 2013 and soon thereafter began teaching as an adjunct nursing faculty for South University. Kristen quickly realized her passion for the profession of nursing education and began seeking more opportunities to contribute to the education of aspiring nurses. Introduced to PBA’s nursing program by her younger sister, Kendal (now alumna), Kristen was immediately drawn to the Christ-first education offered at PBA. Blessed with the opportunity to join the Palm Beach Atlantic nursing family in 2017, Kristen has been able to work with students in a variety of both undergraduate and RN-BSN courses. Kristen is also currently completing the Doctor of Nursing Practice-executive leadership program at PBA. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and volunteers with a variety of not-for-profit organizations in the community such as Little Smiles, the Auxiliary at St. Mary’s Medical Center, and HeartsforMoms. She currently resides in Hobe Sound with her school age son, Noah. They are members of Calvary Chapel Jupiter and enjoy spending their free time with family.
